Having a UPS device fitted close your computer may seem like a smart move. After all, the device will ensure your computer never loses power even if power supply is cut. You will have adequate time to save your work before shutting down the computer on your own. Well, the UPS may perfect as far as normal operations are concerned.
However, having a UPS can lead to numerous problems if you have our CRT monitor attached to your computer. The magnetic field is generated by the UPS can distort the image of your CRT monitor.
